Anime Stamp by ShadowKantu19 Anime Stamp by ShadowKantu19
please fave if you're going to use.

personally, I don't care whether anime is dubbed or subbed, it's all what we love. Sure sometimes dub gets aggrivating, but it had many up sides. So I made this stamp for anyone who loves anime so much that they don't care for the language, they'll watch it.
If you disagree, just don't comment or fave or whatever, this is just my belief or opinion, really.

The subbed or dubbed elitists really make me mad and come off ableist to me.
Supercoco142 Featured By Owner Mar 15, 2016  Hobbyist Digital Artist
I actually prefer dubs, but subs are also great!
Phapha332 Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2016
Precisely. I ask those rabid "sub- weeaboos" out there: Why waste your breath looking for a subbed Japanese version when you have a nice dubbed version, WHERE YOU CAN FLIPPING KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON, right in front of your face? Don't you agree? It's like you can just get to somewhere in 10 minutes but you instead take the long route and get there after an hour.

Oh, I definitely prefer dub. What's the point looking at the subtitles when you don't know what's happening up there?
SparklyStarLights Featured By Owner Edited Jun 29, 2015  Student Digital Artist
I prefer the sub versions, because my parents can't understand Japanese xD

I think Funimation's dub of One Piece is the best version. It's just incredible. It's a big part of why I love One Piece so much.
yoichi-masaki Featured By Owner Jan 22, 2015
its a hard choice, I prefer dub

basically the same words (gennerally) and I can eat and watch anime without missing text

but sub is more accurate and has more options so....
DoubleDoppelganger Featured By Owner Jan 1, 2015
Thank you! I agree totally, it is ridiculous how people fight over small things like that :) Honestly not all dubs are good, but there are others that are done really well. It depends really I guess on what is done with the Anime.

So usin' this ^_^
Animekidhanamakusa Featured By Owner Edited Dec 13, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Funimation and Viz Meda and bandai were great dubs!
I pick dub.^_^
shadowangel33 Featured By Owner Oct 11, 2014  Student Artist

DUB!! =D
xXBlue-ReaperXx Featured By Owner Apr 11, 2014  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I like subs, but it gets on my last nerve when weeaboos say how English dubs ruin the Anime. Go watch the subs if you can't deal with it!
HinamoriAmuV Featured By Owner Mar 14, 2014  Student Artist
Subbed because they change the voices and it sounds bad >:(
AnthemHearts Featured By Owner Mar 8, 2014  Hobbyist General Artist
I can't stand sub. If I can't find a dubbed in English, I usually find one Russian.
But I do agree it doesn't matter if you prefer subbed or dubbed.
epicwhamo995 Featured By Owner Jan 2, 2014
Why do people even argue about this? Dubbed anime is basically just the original anime in a different language(unless it's 4kids of course).
Voca-Chan1234 Featured By Owner Dec 22, 2013
SUB!!! then you can watch any anime without your parents understanding!

AnthemHearts Featured By Owner Mar 8, 2014  Hobbyist General Artist
not if your parents speak Japanese. And most likely your parents can read and will read the subtitles
CrazyLilBit Featured By Owner Nov 19, 2013  Hobbyist Writer

I agree one hundred percent with this stamp. I hate the war going on between sub and dub fans. It's the same show no matter what language it is in. I've watched shows both ways, but personally, I'll go to the dubs if there's the option.

1) I don't speak Japanese. Love the language, I think its beautiful, but I know all of four words. Not enough to watch an entire show.

2) It becomes a little daunting trying to read the subtitles, watch the show and match up the voices with each character at every moment. The first two episodes are usually spent trying to match everyone up when I watch subs. Plus, I usually have an anime on in the background while I work and the dub's let me semi-watch and still work.

3) A large portion of the anime I watch comes through Funimation, and I am a total fan of their employees. If Todd Habbercorn is in the voice actors list, I'll click the dub version.

But if I love the anime I'll watch it however I can find it, rather it be subbed or dubbed.

I don't mind if the Anime has been dubbed or is subbed ^_^ I watched the whole of GNG and GDW, part of Wolf's Rain and Death Note with Subs. But Hetalia is too fast so I watch the dub haha

I agree with you 100% I am okay with dub or sub it does not matter to me. (Sometimes I watch one anime all in sub then after it comes out with some in dub I watch them too. XD)
PinkieShyFIM Featured By Owner Aug 9, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist
I like it dubbed, because I don't speak Japanese, I speak Applenese.

i agree, i watch sub AND dub! i love both!
because i watch things like black rock shooter, death note, and kuroshitsuji with subs, but i watch soul eater, fullmetal alchemist, ouran highschool host club, etc with the dub. so honestly, i like anime just for it being anime.

I usually watch anime in dub because I can't stand the high pitch voices of Japanese girls, like after four minutes after I start watching especially animes like Fullmetal Alchemist and Black Butler because to me it sounds so werid to have them speaking Japanese when most of all the characters are European.....
SynneWarrior Featured By Owner Oct 9, 2012
True, but... comparatively speaking I much prefer sub simply because the voice acting is better then in english...

There's.. more... emotion in Japanese voices xD
hobowendy Featured By Owner Sep 17, 2012  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I like sub and dubs It just depends on the voice actors to either sound retarded or cool.
kanamexyuki4eva Featured By Owner Sep 4, 2012  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
Sub~! Lots of Dub voice actors make there voice squeaky to impersonate japs way of speaking. But it end up bad. Another has an OKish Dub tho. Really just depends on the actors. Sayoonara

It depends on what anime and the voice acting.

'Nuff said.
I'm a dub-watcher, but I believe that an anime fan is an anime fan regardless of language.
LittleMissNekko Featured By Owner Apr 30, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
There some anime I like better with the orignal voice acting like in Death Note but some in dubs like Fruits Basket :)
ShadowKantu19 Featured By Owner May 14, 2012
got to agree on that one.

I need help finding a name of an anime I watched some years ago, I would be very grateful if someone can tell me name of it but I don't remember that many details, this is what I remember, the protagonist was a girl with red hair and she was in love with her best (?) friend, they were in High school if I'm not mistake, also from what I can remember this anime was made in the 90's since the animation was very similar to Dragon ball Z, thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help.
SparkMaster37 Featured By Owner Feb 28, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
I agree 100% I'm a dub watcher, but that doesn't make me any less of a fan!!!!!!
Ava1234567 Featured By Owner Dec 27, 2011
I agree wholeheartedly. The sub/dub war is just stupid. Personally I prefer dubbed, because I like actually hearing people's voices and I have trouble reading and watching at the same time. But not everyone has to like dubbed. Can't we all just enjoy the show without arguing about it?
ShadowKantu19 Featured By Owner May 14, 2012
exactly why I made this forever ago!
StarSpinner678 Featured By Owner Nov 12, 2011  Hobbyist Writer
I like usually Lucky Star in Dub, but only ever watch OHSHC in Sub. we all have our likes and dislikes. Pokemon i dont mind which, however, i do have better access to dub.
SakuraWarrirorGirl Featured By Owner Oct 31, 2011  Hobbyist Writer
The thing I don't get about some sub fans, they say English censors all the blood/extreme violence/swearing...THAT'S ONLY FOR TV uncut animes I own for Dragonball Z,Naruto/Naruto Shippuden,Fullmetal Alchemist and FMA: Brotherhood are all uncut. I hate the sub/dub war it's pointless. I like anime, but not obsessed with it either I watch/do other things too :P
